Notifications

Notifications help keep users within your workspace informed about ongoing activities.

Invitation to Join:

There are two methods for accessing an ActiveDraft workspace:

1 - Users sign up for their own workspace

2 - Users are invited to join another user’s workspace

In both cases, users will receive an email invitation prompting them to verify their email address from noreply@activedraft.com.

Email Notifications Regarding Assignments:

It's crucial for users to stay informed about the progress of assignments. When certain actions are completed within ActiveDraft, it triggers email notifications.

There are 3 groups of users involved in an assignment:

Assignment Creator - The individual who created the assignment

Assignees -  These individuals are made aware of the assignment, but are not responsible for marking it completed in ActiveDraft.
*There is no limit to the number of assignees on each assignment

Assignment Owner - An Assignee that has accepted the assignment becomes the Assignment owner. This individual has accepted responsibility for the assignment and is tasked with seeing it through to completion.

Below are the email notifications that are triggered.

Action Completed:

Person(s) Notified via Email:

Assignee(s) has been tasked with an assignment

Assignee(s)

An Assignee accepts the assignment
*This Assignee then becomes the Assignment Owner

Assignment Creator and all other assignees if applicable

Below is an example of an email an assignee would receive when tasked with an assignment.

Assignment Notification Email-1

When a user clicks on the Assignment Title (in this example Dried Concrete?), they will be taken directly to the markup associated with the assignment.

Please note: All email notifications are from the email sender noreply@activedraft.com. Please check your spam folder if you have not received an email notification.
